Beba's Philosophy

A visionary and pioneer, Beba, unaccustomed to drinking brewed coffee sitting in a pot for hours, opened one of the first cafés on Madison Avenue, “Sabrina Monet” (named after her daughters ) in 1984. At that time, cappuccinos, reminiscent of French, and Italian cafes, were not so common in New York City. Shortly thereafter, Beba’s Kitchen expanded to an additional location in New York City’s Upper West Side.

As consumer’s cravings for homemade products grew, Beba wanted to offer her artisanal loaves, pastries, and all-natural fruit preserves to a wider audience. For the past few decades, Beba’s Kitchen has welcomed people from New York, and visitors from around the world at places such as The French Market on Broadway, Bryant Park, NY market, and Artist and Fleas in Williamsburg.

Today, you can find Beba’s Kitchen’s baked goods online (see order specifications next to each product). We look forward to baking for you, your family, friends, and business colleagues!

Hope to see you soon!
